Bahrain Premier League Cricket Tournament Powered by SRAM & MRAM

In an exciting move to elevate the cricketing scene in Bahrain, the Bahrain Premier League (BPL) cricket tournament was officially launched in collaboration with KHK Sports and Exelon. This T20 franchise-based tournament, held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will feature six teams competing for supremacy in the T20 format.
The Bahrain Premier League (BPL) features six teams: SRAM & MRAM Lions, Intex Falcons, Awan Warriors, Four Square Challengers, Bahrain Knight Riders, and Bahrain Supergiants. Each team will consist of 13 resident cricketers, and the tournament is set to run from January 26th to March 9th, offering an exciting competition for cricket fans in Bahrain and beyond.
At the official ticket launch, Mohammed Shahid, CEO of KHK Sports, presented the first ticket to Guruji Kumaran Swami, representing Intex, the platinum sponsor of the league. The ceremony also saw Shahid hand over the key to a Chevrolet Aveo, the grand prize sponsored by SRAM & MRAM, to Saleem Ilyasi, President of the Cricket Bahrain Association.
Mohammad Mansoor, President of the Bahrain Premier League, expressed gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for supporting the first international cricket premier league in Bahrain, and for his vision in making Bahrain an international cricket destination.
The league will also have a strong connection with the Cricket Bahrain Association, which is affiliated with the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), further enhancing Bahrain’s position in the global cricketing community.
Additionally, Coca Cola, the title sponsor of the tournament, played a vital role in supporting the event. Mohammad Akeel, Managing Director of Coca Cola, along with Punith, Marketing Manager of Coca Cola, were thanked for their partnership in making this tournament the biggest cricketing event in Bahrain.
The Bahrain Premier League is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the Middle Eastern sporting calendar, and with SRAM & MRAM powering this initiative, it promises to bring top-tier cricket action to Bahrain.
