SMEXASEAN launches platform for India

The Indian MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) sector is poised for a transformative boost with the launch of SMEXIndia, a new division of SMEXASEAN, an online marketplace platform owned and operated by the SRAM & MRAM Group, a prominent UK-based international conglomerate with a presence across 12 countries and 5 continents.
While SMEXASEAN already serves as an online marketplace for SMEs in the ASEAN region, SMEXIndia has been crafted specifically to cater to the Indian market. This virtual "superhighway" aims to unlock the full potential of government-backed initiatives designed to provide Indian businesses with a global marketplace. For the first time, SMEXIndia will bring together an array of stakeholders—businesses, government bodies, banks, insurance companies, freight and logistics companies, NGOs, charitable organizations, and consumers—under one unified platform.
SMEXIndia.com, the online portal launched by SMEXIndia, will serve as a key enabler for Indian sellers to connect with global buyers. The portal will allow small entrepreneurs and manufacturers to display their products in front of a global audience. SRAM & MRAM will leverage its international offices to support these sellers and ensure that their products reach global markets efficiently. Where needed, the company will also consider establishing representative offices in key regions to further support Indian SMEs and their international sales efforts.
