SRAM & MRAM Group to Invest INR 100 Crores to Manufacture PPE in India

SRAM & MRAM Group, a UK-based conglomerate, is set to invest INR 100 Crores in the Indian market as part of its ongoing commitment to improving safety measures globally. As part of this initiative, the company will focus on manufacturing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) products under its flagship brand, Walletz4U. The company plans to produce premium Nitrile Examination Gloves, which are currently manufactured at its facilities in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. With these investments and manufacturing units in place, SRAM & MRAM is positioning itself to become a leading OEM manufacturer of medical and industrial-grade gloves in East Asia.
Walletz4U, the flagship brand owned by SRAM & MRAM Group, is one of the world’s leading companies in public health emergency management solutions. The brand is a prominent manufacturer of medical protection supply products, including gloves, which are sold globally.
Speaking about the development, Dr. Sailesh Lachu Hiranandani, Chairman of SRAM & MRAM Group, said, “SRAM is committed to addressing the global PPE shortage by acquiring and leasing a range of production lines to meet the growing demand, especially for gloves across all industry verticals.”
Given the current global demand for protective gear such as sanitizers, gloves, face shields, and more, SRAM & MRAM has been rapidly expanding its manufacturing capabilities. The company is in the process of establishing more than 12 factories across Malaysia, Vietnam, and India under the Walletz4U brand. In addition, SRAM & MRAM plans to set up 40 more factories worldwide over the next six months to further develop the PPE market.

As part of its global expansion, Walletz4U has successfully set up 16 offices worldwide. A key player in this expansion is Ms. Hemalata Arumugam, CEO & Director of SRAM & MRAM, who has been instrumental in securing production lines to maximize output over the next three years, positioning Walletz4U among the top five players in the global gloves market. Mr. Chaittnya Aggarwal, Executive Director of Business Development, has been pivotal in managing SRAM & MRAM's operations in the US and securing orders from Europe, particularly in the UK and Europe. Ms. Vandana Rao (VEE), Director of Sales & Operations, has also played a crucial role in bringing in substantial orders for gloves, as well as expanding into masks and PPE gowns. She is behind the production of Walletz4U masks, branded as “VEGA,” which are manufactured in South Korea.
The brand is also looking to appoint distributors globally, under the guidance of Mr. Garry Mehta of Goldmark Development Ltd., Mr. Vishal Ahuja, and Mr. Sanjeev Chaudhary, who are leading efforts to expand the brand’s reach in Europe, with a particular focus on Italy and Spain.
